All, All, About the Fall

I think the fall is my favorite time of the year.  

Trees don their new outfits,

their confidence blooming from root to limb

but the fashion is fleeting, winter is just around the corner

this impending freeze makes fall rare

we must treasure the picnic weather, 

walk our dogs, play that game of golf 

because before you know it, the trees are thread bare 

only covered by the lights we dress them in 

season tidings are just around the corner but for now

I choose to seize this beautiful gift and enjoy it
